BEHIND THE LENS
Updated: Oct 17, 2019
When I quit my teaching career I never thought that it would result in turning my lifelong hobby of taking photographs into a career, yet the world works in mysterious ways and with a bit of encouragement from family and friends and a nudge in the right direction from a fellow photographer it woke me up to the fact that I needed to pursue my dreams, and there was never a better time to do it than right there and then.
My name is Rosalia Sempere Pico & I am the photographer behind the lens at RSP Photography.
I am originally from Spain although I call this diverse and beautiful city, Hong Kong, my home. I am married to a handsome, kind and hardworking man called Marc and we are expecting our first child in February 2019 which we are so excited about! Marc & I love to travel and you can often find us booking flights to go on adventures around the world!
We are also the proud parents to four wonderful fur babies, three cats, Walden, Tiger and Hugo & one dog, Bo. You can imagine how crazy our house can get with this many animals but we wouldn't change it for the world!
Now that you know a bit about me I should explain what I am doing here. I've been meaning to start this blog for over four months now, I have never procrastinated over something so much in my life (or maybe I have... I probably have). Today I decided it was time to make the leap, and as they say, the first step is always the hardest right? Well I've made that first step now, here I am. Welcome to my photography blog!
Writing is not my specialty and I certainly can't express myself as well as I do through my photography. However, I have decided to start a blog on my website in hopes that I am able to give you an insight into my everyday life, showcase my photographs, bring you inside my journey as a professional photographer, as well as give you tips on capturing beautiful images, equipment, editing techniques and everything and anything photography A-Z! Stay tuned!
*insert cliche photography quote here* okay okay i'll be cliche....
